Dr. Charles Gorodetzky joined NDA Partners as an Expert Consultant in 2016. Dr. Gorodetzky is an experienced physician and pharmacologist with more than fifty-four years in clinical research and expertise in the development of central nervous system (CNS) drugs. His twenty-one year career as a US Public Health Service Officer in NIH Intramural Research at the Addiction Research Center (Lexington, Kentucky) was extensive, where he held senior roles as Scientific Director and Deputy Director.
Dr. Gorodetzky served as Head and Acting Head, Neuropharmacology Section, Burroughs Wellcome Company; Executive Director, Clinical Research (CNS Development), CIBA-GEIGY Corporation; Medical Director, Cygnus Therapeutic Systems; Vice President, North American Medical Advisor, Vice President, Head of Clinical Research (North America), Vice President, Global Therapeutic Area – CNS, Hoechst Marion Roussel Inc.; Vice President, Head, Neurology Team, Deputy Department Head, Medical and Scientific Services, QAMR, and Central Region Medical Director at Quintiles Inc.
Dr. Gorodetzky is a former member of the FDA Drug Abuse Advisory Committee. He has been involved with substance abuse research and treatment, including continued activity in the College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) throughout his career, since 1963. He currently holds an active Medical License in Kentucky.
